Responsibility

Day Shift 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Swing Shift 2-2-3 Schedule Warehouse Supervisors are responsible for the administration and management of all aspects of the plant’s warehousing activities to ensure the plant and customer requirements are met. This responsibility includes the development and supervision of lift truck operators and warehouse personnel, development of plans for cost efficient warehouse utilization, tracking of inventory for accuracy and space utilization, and coordination of shipments with customer and freight companies. Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices. Supervise Lift Truck Operators in their daily activities including directing, training and evaluating. Optimize warehouse space utilization by developing plans based on production schedules and customer requirements to minimize overall warehousing costs. Conduct job safety training for plant personnel involved with lift truck operation. Manage the plant’s pallet component inventory including physical counts, reconciling, sorting and distributing the components. Manage inventory record accuracy including cycle counts, investigations, and adjustments. Oversee lift truck maintenance and inspections. Manage product flow between LCLP, customers, and off-site warehouses. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the Warehouse department. Review shipping/receiving paperwork for accuracy. Fill in as an LTO as necessary. 0-25% travel may be required. Warehouse Supervisors are required to interact with other managers, employees, vendors, and customers

Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree and/or related logistics experience; or equivalent combination of education and related logistics experience is required. A minimum of five years’ experience in a logistics supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership skills strongly preferred.
