Responsibility

The Warehouse Selector is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders within a foodservice distribution center environment. This role ensures the quality and completeness of orders while adhering to safety and operational guidelines. Utilize voice automated headset and electric pallet jack to pick customer orders. Ensure accuracy in product selection and quantity according to order specifications. Verify items picked against order documentation to maintain order accuracy. Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged products to supervisors. Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including equipment operation and product handling. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to sanitation standards. Properly stack and organize products in designated storage areas following warehouse layout guidelines. Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and replenishing picking locations. Work collaboratively with warehouse team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals. Communicate effectively regarding order status, inventory levels, and any issues affecting operations. Record accurate information regarding products picked, quantities, and any discrepancies encountered during the picking process. Maintain documentation integrity and completeness for audit and operational purposes. Lift and move heavy objects, and operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Adhere to physical stamina requirements necessary for warehouse duties. Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule to accommodate peak periods, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs. Fast-paced environment with exposure to varying temperatures (coolers, freezers). Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
