Responsibility
This position involves working from a pick or pack list to accurately determine which items need to be sent out. You will be responsible for ensuring that all items are free of damage and are stacked safely and securely in the appropriate packaging. The role requires the use of carts or manual pallet jacks to move materials throughout the distribution facility. In this position, you will be expected to inspect, weigh, and label packages, ensuring they meet quality standards. You will assemble daily orders based on shipping locations or other categories, fill out packing and order forms, and seal and label shipping containers. Adherence to health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations is essential. Additionally, you may be required to work overtime and weekends as needed, along with other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor. Inspect, weigh, and label packages; ensure they are free of damage. Assemble daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories. Fill out packing and order forms; seal and label shipping containers. Use material handling equipment. Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations. About the position As a Warehouse Packer at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations at the Union City, GA site. This position involves working from a pick or pack list to accurately determine which items need to be sent out. You will be responsible for ensuring that all items are free of damage and are stacked safely and securely in the appropriate packaging. You will be working Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with a competitive pay rate of $19.20 per hour, paid weekly. In this position, you will be expected to inspect, weigh, and label packages, ensuring they meet quality standards. You will assemble daily orders based on shipping locations or other categories, fill out packing and order forms, and seal and label shipping containers. Adherence to health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations is essential.
