What you'll do We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Material Handler, Temporary to join our dynamic team in Broussard, LA! You will play a key role in streamlining our supply chain by coordinating material flow (receiving, allocation, and movement) across both on-site and off-site locations. This includes maintaining accurate fixed asset registers for materials within domestic warehouses. You'll collaborate with the Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor to ensure cost-effective and compliant domestic transportation, adhering to established logistics processes and transportation cost models. To facilitate seamless order fulfillment, you will also serve as a liaison between internal departments and external customers throughout the end-to-end logistics process. The day-to-day Responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to various internal delivery locations in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, productivity, and accuracy. This position will schedule domestic customer deliveries with identified freight forwarders. Must have good communication skills to coordinate with Leads and Supervisors in the various departments to provide an outstanding Customer Service experience to them. You will operate a forklift in performance of order filling duties. You will inspect and report the maintenance required for equipment. The Material Handler will also be responsible for other duties as assigned by the group lead including order picking, asset tracking, inventory management, material put-away, receiving, and projects as the need arises. What you'll need • 2- 5 years of inventory and stockroom experience • 1+ year experience with arranging shipments domestically within the US • Experienced with forklift operation and safety requirements • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and up to 85 lbs occasionally. What will help you on the job • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel. • Able to work under pressure and multi-task under these conditions.
