Warehouse Logistics Coordinator Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: As a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator at DHL, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of warehouse logistics operations to ensure efficient and effective workflow. Key Responsibilities of Warehouse Coordinator: • Logistics Coordination:Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including receiving, stowing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders and shipments according to service level agreements. • Inventory Management:Oversee inventory control procedures, including cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and maintaining accurate inventory records.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to prevent stockouts and excess inventory. • Warehouse Operations Oversight:Supervise and provide guidance to warehouse staff in daily operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols, operational procedures, and quality standards.Implement best practices for warehouse organization, layout, and workflow optimization. • Customer Service and Communication:Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and order status updates.Communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and carriers to coordinate logistics activities and resolve operational challenges. • Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within warehouse logistics operations.Implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and service quality. Skills and Qualifications for Warehouse Coordinator: • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred. • Proven experience in warehouse operations and logistics coordination, with at least 2 in a supervisory or coordinator role. • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and proficiency in using logistics software for tracking and reporting. • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and optimize processes. Working Conditions: • Fast-paced warehouse environment with regular exposure to moving machinery and varying temperatures. • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and perform physical tasks as required.
