Responsibility
The Warehouse ILS/PTD is responsible for supporting the Integrated Logistics Support and Provisioning Technical Documentation (ILS/PTD) of US Navy commands undergoing CNO Availability. ILS/PTD is a configuration management process for material removed and installed on Navy vessels and reporting information to the government oversight. (This list is not intended to detail all aspects of the assigned work but is representative of the job’s overall responsibilities). Supports the warehouse ILS/PTD process for projects being planned or executed by Vigor. Maintain/update the ILS/PTD Excel tracker for each project. Provide technical support for ILS/PTD, to support all aspects from Vigor to Contractor. Interfaces with Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) ILS/PTD Configuration oversight division, with to support ship tours and onsite validations. Ability to learn the Government Furnished Material Process. The Warehouse ILS/PTD person operates within established parameters, but is encouraged to suggest process improvements. The person must exercise sound decision when writing Name Plate Data Sheets. This position does not carry supervisory responsibility. The role reports to Vigor’s ILS Supervisor. He/she interacts on daily or weekly basis with CFM/GFM warehouse, Project Managers, Superintendents and Trades personnel. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: • High-school diploma, or equivalency certificate. A degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. • Basic computer skills- excel, word, etc. • Experience working with Navy, Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems beneficial. • Knowledge of Ships software systems; OMMS-NG, CDMD-OA, MBPS, HAYSTACK. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: Security Clearance preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT: While in the production areas may be exposed to all weather conditions, noises, dust and odors.
