Responsibility

The Visiting Professor in Computer Science will be responsible for teaching, scholarship (original research), and service as a temporary grant funded faculty member in the emerging Computer Science program at Chaminade. This position leads Computer Science curriculum development, delivery, and assessment. The Professor will teach undergraduate Computer Science certificate, and degree and join our teams implementing of dynamic NSF INCLUDES Alliance and SCIPE projects supporting Pacific capacity in computer science and data science. The position requires independent Computer Science research leading to the publication of peer-reviewed papers, grant submissions and other scholarly products. This position involves advising students, holding regular office hours in support of students, and assist students with navigation towards internships, traineeships, and jobs in Computer Science and related areas. This position will include performing all duties professionally and ethically, and support the policies and mission of the University. This position is grant funded and dependent on continued receipt of extramural funding
