Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced videographer intern to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be a foundational member of our team, working closely with our co-founders/co-hosts, social media managers, and audio engineers to build the world’s preeminent longevity biotech podcast. Core Responsibilities: • Filming & Content Capture: Must be available for filming two 3-hour sessions per week, ensuring consistency over the next 3-6 months. • Technical Equipment Management: Set up, manage, and operate video and audio equipment to capture high-quality content during podcast sessions. • Post-Production Coordination: Collaborate with the audio engineer to ensure seamless integration of final audio into the video content for editing. • RAW File Management: After each session, promptly upload all RAW video and audio files to a shared Google Drive folder for further processing. • Long-Form Video Editing: Take responsibility for editing full-length podcast episodes, ensuring a professional and engaging final product. • Trailer and Clip Editing: Use Descript to create both long-form content and highlight clips for marketing, social media, and promotional use. Requirements: • Experience in Videography & Video Editing: Proven experience in capturing and editing high-quality video content, with a portfolio to demonstrate past work. • Proficiency with Descript: Must be familiar with or able to quickly learn how to use Descript for podcast and video editing. • Consistency & Commitment: Must be able to commit to filming twice a week for 3-hour sessions, consistently over the next 3-6 months. • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple files, ensure consistent quality, and adhere to deadlines. • Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work closely with the production team, including audio engineers, editors, and podcast hosts, ensuring smooth workflows. Preferred Skills: • Basic Audio Editing Knowledge: While not required, basic knowledge of audio editing would be beneficial to facilitate the post-production process. • Creative Eye for Visual Storytelling: A knack for selecting compelling visuals and moments to enhance the narrative of podcast episodes.
