Responsibility

The Commercial Director will be responsible for driving revenue by executing strategy in the US and Mexico region. The position will be accountable to guide and lead the Americas Sales Team to add incremental clients to our network, retaining them, and growing revenue over continuous relationships. The position will also have Americas P&L and Operations responsibility. The Commercial Director will have a pivotal role in driving strategy deployment into action plans that will combine marketing strategies, operational excellence and pricing optimization, all this to enhance competitive edge throughout the globe. The ideal candidate will also be a creative strategist with excellent organizational abilities. Define and implement growth strategy and action plans for Americas. Contribute to the direction and the success of the company, promoting synergies and cooperation across the global Ata Freight network. Keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to upper management. Establish, manage, and achieve country revenue, volume and profit goal by using OKRS. Lead the entire region business providing strategic direction and tactical support to both direct and indirect reports. Seek and evaluate options for growth including all verticals, managing the Organization to be ready to take on clients of all industries and modals. Achieve the goals by protecting the company's interests at the highest level by acquiring new customers and ensuring business continuity with existing customers. Oversee all aspects of sales and customer service. Responsible to attract, lead, manage, and develop talented people. Guide and direct the activities of reports and direct subordinates as a team to ensure effective operational support to clients and employees at all levels within Americas. Develop internal team to maximize KPI results and build a solid succession plan. Provide regional orientation of other employees in the sales team, determine sales strategies and ensuring that they are followed together with the sales team. Boost business growth with existing and new customers. Ensure adequate resources are in place to deliver targets and continue to grow. Ensure employee engagement from the Sales Department as top priority. Control business processes and procedures to ensure legal compliance and application of group best practices and standards.
