Position Riverbed seeks a Regional Vice President, to lead solution sales programs, develop sales objectives, establish sales territories and quotas, manage budgets and evaluate sales performance. The Regional Vice President will report directly into the SVP EMEA Sales. This position has full responsibility for The Company’s organization across the region and will be a key contributor to the senior management team. What you will do • As part of the EMEA Management Team, lead in the development of the regions goals, strategies and actions. • Ensure timely execution of these strategies and actions. • Set and execute an appropriate sales strategy that covers go to market, hi-touch, channel, alliances and partnerships. • Ensure business forecasts and revenue reports are produced and presented on time. • Set sales revenue targets and drive these down throughout the sales organization. • Recruit, coach, develop and motivate high caliber sales talent. • Build a high-performance, solutions-sales based sales culture. • Drive the performance management process which tracks sales individual productivity and drives increases in effectiveness • Create and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers within large customers and partners • Develop and effectively present The Company’s value proposition, roadmap and vision to key customers and strategic partners in the region • Influence C-level executives within strategic accounts • Develop and manage regional channel partner effectiveness What makes you an ideal candidate • Proven Success in leading and motivating successful sales teams, including management of managers • Must have experience obtaining a team quota of $20M+ • Domain competent in a least two disciplines of Application Architectures & Performance Management, Storage & Infrastructure Management or Network Infrastructure • High degree of motivation and professionalism with advanced organizational, project management, negotiation, change management, problem solving skills, process management, leadership, coaching, mentoring, resource management, and team building skills. • Must have expertise in selling to Global Enterprise, Service provider and System Integrator verticals • Good rolodex – ability to bring net new business • Demonstrated ability in problem solving and negotiation with special emphasis on closing sales • Demonstrated capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends and how they would apply to real world projects • Degree; MBA degree is a plus What we offer Our employee benefits including flexible workplace policies, employee resource groups, learning and development resources, career progression pathways, and community engagement initiatives are some of the reasons why we have had great success in bringing in new talent.
