Responsibility

Managing a team of ~50 FTEs across Finance, Accounting, Tax and Payroll. Reporting lines into this role include Manufacturing Finance Director based in Panama, SC Finance Director NA, Sr. Finance Manager of Inventory, and EMEA and APAC SC Finance Managers. Provide strategic financial leadership by partnering with Senior Supply Chain Management on initiatives and sequencing to create a competitive advantage in sourcing, production, logistics, distribution, and procurement achieving cost and service objectives. Develop tangible cost and capacity glide paths in line with revenue and profitability targets through production and sourcing strategies. Develop cash targets, inventory goals and initiative building blocks to achieve those targets. Develop and lead the annual budgeting and strategic planning processes and the monthly forecasting process for the consolidated Supply Chain. Enhance existing processes and build upon improvements to take them to the next level. Coordinate the development of annual Supply Chain cost savings initiatives and financial/operational goals and metrics. Develop and implement a monthly process which effectively monitors and consistently reports progress against these initiatives and goals. Ensure financial analysis, option evaluation, processes, and delegation of authority are followed for capital expenditures. Ensure compliance with all corporate accounting policies and financial reporting practices and ensure that internal controls exist throughout Supply Chain which are SOX compliant. Establish succession planning for key financial management positions in the Supply Chain organization and training/developmental opportunities for the financial staff with the goal of developing a world class financial function. Keep abreast of emerging supply chain and FP&A trends and collaborate with other business leaders to embed opportunities in business strategy. Work with stakeholders to continually optimize Supply Chain governance and decision-making processes as the business context and technology landscape changes

Kontoor Brands is currently seeking a seasoned Finance executive with a strong track record of success in partnering with Supply Chain in demand and supply planning, inventory management, capital expenditure, sourcing, distribution, purchasing, production/manufacturing, supplier negotiations & logistics for domestic and global companies. The VP of Finance, Supply Chain will be responsible for a $1.7 billion spend pool, global scope including sourced goods and internal manufacturing with three plants.
