Responsibility

At its most basic level, this individual shall define and develop region specific initiatives that will drive impactful, revenue generating outcomes for Cordel. This will include shaping and executing a focussed direct sales initiative, developing appropriate regional channel partners and enhancement of the Cordel proposition aligned to our vision, sector specific requirements and continued customer relevance. This role is quota carrying and as such an important contributor towards the overall Cordel revenue forecast. This is a senior hire and the individual will form part of the senior management team and report to the company CRO (Chief Revenue Officer). Define, develop and execute regional revenue growth initiatives working alongside the CRO and Rail Industry Lead(s). Define and develop a regional channel partner / OEM strategy with the objective to deliver incremental pipeline growth. Own and manage business development (prospecting, networking) using ‘Discovery Phase’ conversational techniques in order to continually enhance and develop Cordel’s understanding and data points across the industry sector and thus help drive strategic growth in an informed manner. Be the owner / key contributor within formal RFx processes, fully leveraging sector and end customer knowledge to help deliver winning propositions and proposals. Ensure adherence to the sales governance, reporting and discipline including updates as required into the company CRM. Become an evangelist for Cordel and represent the company at key trade and networking events

Job Description Cordel sees huge opportunity in the US and Latin America markets and as such we are looking to enhance our US team with a VP of Sales. Mid-term, this role offers the successful candidate influence to develop Cordel’s wider business and Go To Market propositions with the opportunity to grow and manage their own regional sales and technical pre-sales team aligned to increased revenue growth.
