Responsibility

Support corporate venture building from ideation to program execution through research, market and financial analysis. Compile research reports through an incisive synthesis of information within the applicable industry to determine partnerships, investments, and strategy. Analyze and compare the business models of competitors. Work closely with the venture building team to prepare and deliver timely financial updates and business model analyses to key project stakeholders. Create financial and valuation models to evaluate the impact of target projects on enterprise strategies. This includes quantitative analysis of market potential (TAM, SAM, SOM). Take part in go/no go decisions by gathering and interpreting data, and contributing to presentations. Develop pricing analyses on new ventures. Support on developing financial performance KPIs for new ventures. Support on developing expansion strategy for new ventures. Support on developing target organizational and legal structure for new ventures. Support VID team with analysis and initial due diligence based on investment targets. Identify and quantify risks and opportunities for new ventures. Achieve personal and team targets, quotas, and outcomes within agreed upon schedule. Establish, develop, and maintain positive internal, business and startup relationships. Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the market. Effectively engage with startups and research groups to clarify the market opportunity and potential engagement options. Perform job related travel. Adhere to all company policies and procedures and, if applicable, all company policies relating to IATF16949 and ISO14000. Travel hazards related to commercial travel

Qualifications Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience: • Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Finance or business preferred • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an investment bank, Big 4 accounting firm, corporate finance, early-stage technology company, equity research, or venture capital • Prior experience in financial modelling of new ventures • Prior experience in new product development or business development preferred • Demonstrated proficiency to collect high quality data, analyze problems and apply quantitative analytical approaches to get to solutions • Ability to understand industry and consumer trends, create a strategic direction and clearly communicate the opportunity to management • Excellent communication and storytelling skills (both verbal and written) with an ability to structure information to resonate with multiple types of audiences • Strong problem solving, organizational and planning skills with attention to detail • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workflows with individual initiative (self-starter) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record • Possess mental faculties consistent with performing at least the minimum essential functions of the job • Required to create a financial model presentation prior to 2nd interview • Excluding any proprietary information Physical Requirements: • Ability to see and hear (correctable) • Ability to communicate verbally • Ability to legally drive a vehicle • Ability to travel Potential Hazards: • Normal office hazards • Driving hazards • Travel hazards related to commercial travel
