Responsibility

The Operations Task Force Specialist is responsible for fulfilling special needs of the operations team. This includes assisting in the daily operations of the Michigan office as well as a specialty assignment in back-of-the-house functions. There will also be additional task force involvement, i.e., bench manager, wrap-around services, take-over operations, renovation operations, new-build operations, and special projects. Support the operations team in all capacities. Assist with projects for the operations office and for the properties. Track, process, and follow-through on all property contracts/agreements/leases/registrations/licenses/permits/tags, etc. Assist with company programs, i.e., maintaining on-line order guides, updating property lists for vendors, completing P&G rebate entries, etc. Support office administration, such as processing office invoices, buying supplies, coordinating office vendors, etc. Assist with special recognition efforts, i.e., birthday cards, anniversary cards, sympathy cards. Assist with newsletter efforts. Attend and assist with all meetings, including annual, semi-annual, and weekly meetings and others, as required. All other duties as assigned by supervisor. Provide bench management when there are openings. Provide wrap-around support for new or troubled managers to provide longer and more focused support. For instance, staying on property after initial GM training to assist in putting it in action; providing spot training, for example when managers first do payroll or end of the month; staying on property with any new GM to train other departments, like back-of-the-house; staying on property after a take-over or new-build, to give a new manager additional support in their new role. Assist with identified support for a troubled property, i.e. to help increase GSS, follow-up after a poor audit, aid in rolling out a new company program, etc. Assist with new-build projects. Assist with take-over projects. Assist with renovation projects. Responsibility for back of the house support, focusing on housekeeping, laundry and public area departments. Coordinate specific back of the house company programs, i.e. P&G, vacuums, ozone machines, door stops, etc. Provide in-depth back of the house training on-site, as needed. This includes reviewing the department A-Z and ensuring all H S I policies and practices are in compliance, ensuring all brand standards are in place, training in all areas, coordinating vendors on-site (like P&G rep doing training), and making recommendations to the regional manager. Provide any specialized training as designated, i.e., CPR training or TIPS training
