Responsibility

Provide support for day-to-day operations, including monitoring and resolving issues for all client, server, storage, and network devices. Install, configure, and manage Linux and Windows operating system clients and servers, diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues. Perform database administrative tasks, including basic scripting and maintenance. Harden server installations, apply Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patches, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards. Analyze and optimize system performance, workload, and hardware/software usage. Maintain hardware/software performance tuning, monitor downtime, and assess system modifications, upgrades, and new Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions

SAIC is seeking a System Administrator to support the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) team located in Lakehurst, NJ. This is a hybrid-remote role requiring at least two days onsite each week. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to the start date.
