Responsibility

Systems Admin responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure from a vulnerability security perspective. This is a critical role, as they would be ensuring all systems are safe and secure and that vulnerabilities are managed proactively, while also maintaining a smooth and efficient system administration operation. Conduct vulnerability remediation cleanup activities, log servers, apply security patches, and troubleshoot systems regularly. Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts. Apply security patches and updates to operating systems, applications, and network devices to address known vulnerabilities. Work closely with other IT teams, such as network administrators and application developers, to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the IT environment. Preform patch management processes 4 times a month to ensure timely application of security patches and updates. Assess the severity of identified vulnerabilities and apply patches or other remediation measures, coordinating with SCCM/MECM for Windows-based systems

This is a critical role, as they would be ensuring all systems are safe and secure and that vulnerabilities are managed proactively, while also maintaining a smooth and efficient system administration operation.
