Description
Work in a Scottish owned traditional French family hotel for the winter season in Les Gets. You will require to have several years relevant work experience and be ready to assist the Head Chef or Owner in producing a varied and interesting range of menus. You will be required to help produce a min of three 4 course evening meals each day in addition to preparing a range of canapés and amuse bouche on a daily basis. Our restaurant has an excellent reputation where the emphasis is based on providing fresh and local products as much as possible. Fish lovers ,Vegan and Vegetarians are well provided for Most days will involve split shift work and a conscientious approach to your work will be expected to ensure the smooth running of service at meal times. You will be required to work in all sections of the kitchen and each week take on the role of Acting Head Chef to cover for days off. A clean and tidy approach to ones work would be expected with due regard for health and hygiene at all times. Individuals should be able to work calmly under pressure and show a willingness to work in all sections. Budgeting and ordering may also fall within your remit and hygiene and safety regulations must be adhered to at all times.
