The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the Systems Integration Laboratory team in Oklahoma City, OK. This individual will work with a dynamic and diverse team to coordinate efforts related to the design, configuration, production, certification, delivery, and maintenance of integrated systems within the laboratory. Position Responsibilities: • Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers. • Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements. • Works with customers and management to obtain approval. • Responds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules. • Leads project execution to complete the work statement. • Identifies performance metrics. • Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program. • Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity. • Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned. • Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans. • Works under minimal direction. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry • 5+ years’ experience multi-discipline engineering project management Preferred Qualifications: • Ability to lead teams to execute an engineering work scope, manage priorities, and meet program objectives • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple organizational levels in dynamic, fast-paced environment • Ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences using a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint • Experience in a lab environment • Have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
