Responsibility

Maintain daily operation and incident resolution of virtual machines, operating systems, and applications to provide optimum performance and system availability. Troubleshoot and resolve system-related incidents detected during monitoring, by other technical teams, and by users. Provide Tier 2 or 3 support in an enterprise level, globally distributed environment. Install, rebuild, configure, maintain, administer, and document UNIX and Linux systems, software, systems-related products, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. Conduct routine maintenance tasks on systems for proactive monitoring such as space usage, deleting log files, dump files, and error correcting. Create, document, and implement repeatable processes to install, test, upgrade, maintain, and patch system environments and its software. Develop, recommend, document, implement, and maintain system management policies, procedures, and standards. Create, modify, delete, and document user accounts. Complete and maintain DISA STIGs. Have the desire and aptitude for learning and rapidly mastering new applications and technology. Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays
