Responsibility

What this job involves - The role of the Security Administrator encompasses various responsibilities within the security domain, focusing on project-related tasks and support. They actively engage in all project work and are adaptable to contribute in any capacity as needed. Moreover, the Security Administrator is entrusted with managing the space owners list, ensuring its accuracy through regular updates. They also play a pivotal role in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work practices, and process maps specific to the Security Administrator function, establishing a framework of best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security administration tasks. Furthermore, they are responsible for access control, encompassing badge creation and modifications, card access accountability, and parking access. Additionally, they conduct quarterly and annual access audits to maintain the integrity of the security system. Responsible for providing support and assistance in project-related tasks and responsibilities within the security domain. They will actively participate in all aspects of project work and be prepared to contribute to any tasks as required. Manage the space owners list and ensure it is kept up to date with necessary updates. These documents will outline the best practices and guidelines for executing security administration tasks efficiently and effectively. Will be available to cover the reception post as needed, ensuring seamless operations and customer service during any requested periods of absence. Screen, direct and coordinate the admittance of all individuals. Issues access cards and photo IDs to employees/contractors along with parking hang tags. Answers incoming calls, work orders, and emails and forwarding messages as needed. Answers emails sent to the Security Administrator email account. Provide clearances to card access areas after upon receiving approval from space owner. Maintain and update card access when necessary. Provide temporary access to international employees visiting the site. Maintain ID & Access Card Issuance statistics. Provide access card reports on monthly/ as needed basis to BMS space owners. Send notifications to Managers to retrieve badges for inactive badges. Send notifications to Managers to retrieve badges for disabled employees. Relieve reception desk for breaks, lunch, and call outs. Enforce company security policies and procedures
