Our customers have been coming to us from all over the world since the 1970s. We have locations that sell Native American jewelry, Native American pottery and sandpaintings, unique artwork and gifts, western wear, and more! These locations have been in business for over 40 years. When visitors come to visit Tombstone, they want to take home a part of the western experience! Our sales associates are expected to assist with that. Whether it is finding that unique piece of jewelry, gift, pair of boots, or anything else, that is what we need you to do! You must enjoy talking to people and have the personality to sell! Of course, giving great customer service is key, and expected by our customers. If you have these skills and a good work ethic, you will do very well in this job. The position is permanent, and will be for around 30-33 hours per week. Some weekend days and holidays are required, as we are open for business everyday excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Also, availability for Tombstone special event weekends is expected. Health insurance is available after 90 days if you work more than 32 hours per week. Employee discounts available immediately. The minor physical requirements for the job are: good ability to walk, bend, and be on your feet. There is minor lifting up to 50 pounds. There are opening, closing, and stocking duties as well. Jewelry sales experience a plus! PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience in Retail sales • Willing to take on responsibility • Detail oriented • Point of Sale system experience • Good organizational skills • Speaking a second language (Spanish, German, ) • Basic math (addition, subtraction, percentages) • Willingness to learn • Availability on many weekend days and holidays are necessary, as we get visitors everyday. Salary: $15.00 to $15.50 per hour plus incentive when training is complete, depending on experience.
