Description Seeking a skilled SAP Business Objects Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing, maintaining, and upgrading SAP Business Objects environments. This role is crucial in supporting our clients by ensuring the stability and performance of their BI platforms. The candidate must have expertise in upgrading SAP Business Objects from version 4.1 to 4.3, with a strong focus on system installation, configuration, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities • Install, configure, and administer SAP Business Objects environments, specifically versions 4.1 to 4.3. • Lead and execute the upgrade process from version 4.1 to 4.3, ensuring minimal downtime and system stability. • Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the SAP Business Objects platform. • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime. • Manage user accounts, security settings, and permissions within the Business Objects environment. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement solutions, and provide technical support. • Ensure system documentation is accurate and up to date, including installation and upgrade procedures. • Stay up to date on the latest developments in SAP Business Objects and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • 10 years of hands-on experience administering SAP Business Objects. • Proven experience upgrading SAP Business Objects from version 4.1 to 4.3. • Strong understanding of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting within the SAP Business Objects environment. • Experience with Business Objects security models, user management, and performance tuning. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
