Ireland’s Four Provinces, a classic Irish pub in the thriving DC suburb of Falls Church, Virginia, seeks a service-oriented manager with leadership experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant. This is an opportunity to create memorable dining experiences for both our new and repeat customers, continually improve our quality of service, and help our team reach their full potential. If you have exceptional floor presence, offering gracious hospitality and respect to guests and employees in all interactions, we would love to meet you. More specifically, the manager must be capable of the following parts of the job: • Oversee timing, steps of service, speed and efficiency, and remain physically present on the floor during service. • Train staff consistently to meet and exceed service standards, and maintain open lines of communication to create a positive work environment. • Plan, organize and execute events for up to 250 guests. • Assist with purchasing, track sales, run payroll, and actively manage inventory. • Offer service support as needed. Some bartending experience preferred. • Lead by example by adhering to policy, procedures and code of conduct. • Prevent and diffuse situations that may create risk to the business. • Ensure the restaurant operates efficiently every shift of every day.
