Responsibility

The Restaurant Manager for ARVA Italian Restaurant with F&B 575 LLC at Aman New York will oversee and maintain an efficient operation of the department and meet and exceed guests’ expectations for quality of the product and service. Organize greeting, seating and exiting of all guests using a professional demeanour. Train, evaluate and schedule all restaurant staff. Performs administrative duties such as, but not limited to, scheduling, payroll, and inventory. Inspect all areas of the restaurant to ensure standards of service are maintained. Respond to guest inquiries and coordinate special arrangements. Enforce established guidelines and policies of the Company. Implement and communicate new menus and promotions such as holiday and special event promotions. Respond to guest questions. Provide guest assistance, direction, and information as requested when working in public areas. Provide leadership and support for all F&B staff. Attend all meetings, trainings assigned. Communicate all guest information/changes to existing information to appropriate hotel colleagues in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain an active trace system for guest history on their F&B preferences. Attend all daily, weekly, monthly hotel and food & beverage meetings. Develop and update menus, as appropriate. Revise standard and procedures for department, as necessary. Assist in computing and sending daily reports. Greet all guests, colleagues and clients in a professional and friendly manner. Handle all enquiries and bookings for the restaurant in an efficient manner in order to maximize sales. Motivate and be proactive in encouraging team commitment and spirit. Ensure appearance of team members is according to company grooming standards. Share ideas, best practices and problems with the team and encourage their input in helping make decisions where possible. Perform a variety of other duties as assigned by management

The Restaurant Manager of Arva ensures that all policies & procedures and standard operating procedures are effectively maintained at an optimum level. This position has an annual compensation rate of $80,000.
