Responsibility
The Research Associate III (RA) in Genomic Medicine BioAnalytics (Waltham, MA) will be responsible for the execution and analysis of experiments and analytical procedures. They should display an investigative or technological competency in designing, executing and interpreting experiments and analytical procedures. The RA will investigate basic technical problems and perform routine scientific procedures and experiments under general supervision. This will require planning and prioritization of concurrent experimental procedures. The RA will work to integrate, compile, and tabulate data and assist supervisor in the analysis and interpretation of the results. May provide oral presentations on results to other department members. Works under active supervision. Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy. Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Failure to achieve results or erroneous execution may cause delays in program schedules and may result in the allocation of additional resources. Infrequent inter- departmental and outside constituent contacts on routine matters. The successful candidate will design and carry out experiments, perform analyses and interpret analytical data to characterize DNA/RNA and protein. The individual will work closely with our team members to conduct analytical work for multiple projects in BioAnalytics within the Genomic Medicine Unit

Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Job Description: We are seeking a qualified research associate (contractor) to join our team and assist with mass spectrometry-based analysis for gene therapy/cell therapy. Our team focuses on oligo-nucleic acid and peptide mapping experiments on several types of LC-MS instruments as well as biophysical methods such as DLS and AUC. The successful candidate will design and carry out experiments, perform analyses and interpret analytical data to characterize DNA/RNA and protein. The individual will work closely with our team members to conduct analytical work for multiple projects in BioAnalytics within the Genomic Medicine Unit.
