Responsibility

The Regional Director of Sales role is responsible for the oversight, leadership, and guidance of branch sales resources. A dynamic, hands-on, senior-level leader is directly responsible for overseeing multiple branch sales across a given region or territory. This leader is responsible for the attainment of our service commitments and that the business exceeds budget and growth expectations in new business. Assure all Region Account Managers meet all sales goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis. Responsible for leadership development, reporting metrics, sales training, and goal attainment. Bring consistency and compliance across the regional sales platform. This position will report to the Regional VP. Be part of a team that sets the short- and long-term strategic objectives for the company. Ensure that those strategic objectives are implemented in the region to maximize regional performance. Develop annual sales plans for the region to ensure alignment with corporate budget and goals. Review and report the region's sales attainment to the SVP of Branch Sales. Work with GM's to adjust strategy as needed to improve regional sales performance. Identify and develop future sales leaders. Continuously review and monitor sales targets and goals with branch sales teams. Assure branch sales teams perform with consistency and ensure compliance to corporate processes and systems. Participate in acquisition sourcing and integration. Develop and uphold the company's mission, vision, and values. Other duties as needed by the company. Manage the development and execution of all sales strategies, plans, and programs to increase overall exposure and revenue. Ensures sales consistency and coordinated leadership of sales performance. Ensure proper execution of sales plans at the branch and regional levels. Understand market conditions and potential opportunities to protect and expand current market share, including interaction with customers. Establish and maintain relationships with strategic business partners and key stakeholders. Participate in job margins progress and costs; Communicate plan changes to management. Meet with branch sales teams and GMs to evaluate company performance, understand opportunities to enhance sales effectiveness, and to gain insight into trends that may impact the business. Develop, coach, and direct the efforts of the general manager, and sales staff to achieve sales and profit performance goals. Develop bench strength through succession planning to build a sales talent pipeline within the region
