Responsibility

The Receptionist will be responsible for overseeing the reception area and will be the welcoming first point of contact for employees, clients, and visitors of athenahealth at our Global Headquarters located at 80 Guest Street, Boston, MA (Brighton/Boston Landing). This position is a critical part of our employee and client engagement efforts and our physical security program. The role requires a deep passion for customer service, a customer-centric mindset and attention to detail. The Receptionist role for is responsible for creating a positive and lasting first impression of athena to many first-time visitors to our headquarters, including executives, clients, and new employees. The Receptionist will report to the Senior Manager, Global Security & Services. Daily oversight of the reception area . Warmly greeting all people arriving to our Headquarters including employees, clients, visitors, and executive leadership. Collaborating with other executive assistants on visitor and VIP visits. Coordinating and booking use of conference and huddle rooms as needed . Monitoring employee requests for information and facilitating answers. Manage our Visitor Management System and Policies. Ensuring policy compliance for employee, visitor, and contractor access needs. Communicating requests to our landlord’s property management team. Answering the athenahealth main phoneline. Assisting the athena. Environment and Security Management teams with other projects, as needed
