Responsibility

They work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, support systems, and families to deliver excellent patient care. As a Registered Nurse at Monument Health, you will be recognized as a vital team member providing compassionate, patient-focused care. You will actively contribute to the prevention and resolution of illness, disability, or injury, the alleviation of suffering, and the advocacy for individuals' care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare providers, family members, and support systems. You will use independent judgment in employing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate direct patient care in accordance with ANA Standards of Professional Nursing Practice, institutional policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. Utilizes the ANA Nursing Process (2010) to perform the following functions:. Gathers inclusive information relevant to the healthcare recipient's medical status and/or condition. Reviewing the assessment findings to determine the diagnosis or problems at hand. Predicts potential outcomes for an individualized health plan based on the unique needs of the patient. Prepares a roadmap that charts a course of action and substitutes to reach intended goals. Facilitates the designated regimen to ensure the patient's progression. Effective coordination of care involves ensuring that patients receive the right care at the right time from the right healthcare provider. Health teaching and health promotion are methods that use various strategies to promote the maintenance of good health and a protective environment. Utilizing their experience and abilities, advanced practice registered nurses and nursing role specialists act as catalysts for change in their consultations. Scrutinizes headway in reaching intended targets. Employing a methodical process to enhance nursing practice and increase its effectiveness. Develops comprehension and ability that reflects the present state of nursing. Takes an active interest in colleague professional goals and provides guidance and support to help them achieve success. Providing quality care involves collaboration between nurses and their patients and their families. It is imperative for professionals to entwine ethical provisions into all areas of their practice. Utilizing research findings to inform and improve practice is essential for the provision of evidence-based care.
