Responsibility

The analyst will also help translate technical details into clear and compelling advocacy positions that influence the debate on priority issues, and compile data about the company’s nationwide presence to inform external relationship building priorities. Search for legislative and regulatory proposals that impact the company using online tools, subscription services or web research. Coordinate the distribution of information about those proposals to affected business areas and gather feedback to create an enterprise view on priority issues. Complete additional research to answer questions from business partners. Coordinate with lawyers, paralegals, and business area subject matter experts to analyze the potential impact of high priority proposals. POSITION SUMMARY Join our growing Government Affairs team in this role that will support the various divisions within U.S. Venture. The primary responsibility of the Public Policy Analyst is identifying legislative and regulatory issues that could impact U.S. Venture and communicating with internal business partners to help determine enterprise advocacy priorities. The analyst will also help translate technical details into clear and compelling advocacy positions that influence the debate on priority issues, and compile data about the company’s nationwide presence to inform external relationship building priorities. This position can work in the Appleton or Madison, WI area and can be hybrid with time spent working both remote and on-site at our Appleton locations.
