Responsibility

The primary objective of this position is to lead projects and implement change within Clorox's logistics operations. The Logistics Project Manager (LPM) serves as the primary liaison between leadership teams and project teams, acting as a generalist in logistics practices. This role encompasses representing various logistics sub-functions, including Customer Service, Transportation, Customer Supply Chain, and Fulfillment Operations. The LPM will lead chartered Center Logistics operations projects for the U.S. and Canada, which are sophisticated, cross-functional, and/or capital-related, from initiation to execution and transfer to base operations. In this role, the LPM will be responsible for planning project activities, developing and communicating project timelines, setting key achievements, and running project meetings. The goal is to deliver agreed-upon project objectives on time, on budget, and within charter constraints. The LPM will connect with decision-makers and key partners to discuss necessary decisions, provide updates, assess project status, and develop risk assessments and contingency plans. Additionally, the LPM will influence leadership teams using facts, data analysis, and critical assessments to drive project success. The LPM will also focus on reducing execution times and costs through effective management of resources, clear communication, and coordination with operations and business teams. On occasion, the LPM may serve as the Logistics subject matter authority for business unit-led projects. Additional responsibilities include providing logistics input to feasibility assessments for business unit and functional initiatives, supporting continuous improvement in team performance through the development and use of tools, processes, and best practices, and representing Center Logistics on the Project Management Community of Practice.
