Responsibility

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is seeking a Program Management Analyst for the Richmond District Programming and Investment Management Section to perform a variety of programing responsibilities to include a primary focus on managing the district’s process to review and process locality reimbursement requests in a timely and accurate manner. Main responsibilities include: maintain an effective method to monitor the financial health of projects through analytical assessments of funding and expenditures; reconcile project expenditures and prepare data for journal voucher corrections; research project financial data, billings, and invoices to and from localities; provide guidance on proper coding of project expenditures; maintain funds tracking spreadsheets for all locally administered projects. Additional programming responsibilities may include oversight of the Richmond District Programming and Investment Management section’s annual budget; develop/revise project administration agreements and associated appendices; conduct quarterly reviews and certification of project expenditure activity on all active projects; perform necessary tasks to close out project phases; create and maintain enduring positive partnerships with internal and external customers to ensure that the result of section efforts effectively facilitates the delivery of VDOTs mission
