Responsibility

The Prep Cook is a part-time position responsible for assisting in the daily production of both café grab-and-go and catered meals executed by event chefs. This is a part-time position that encompasses all shifts during the week. Ability to read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Ability to read and follow recipes. Complete orderly and accurate production sheets. Prepare high-production quality food. Must be self-directed and able to work independently. Excellent time management skills to ensure that each café and venue location receives daily orders in an efficient and organized manner. Must demonstrate basic knife skills and the ability to operate kitchen equipment. Must follow proper food labeling and dating procedures. Expected to comply with company standards of uniform, professionalism and interpersonal skills

We ask our employees to maintain excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled per business need. This is a part-time position that encompasses all shifts during the week. Qualifications Qualifications • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience preferred. • Minimum of one-year related experience in upscale food service operations. • Off premise kitchen experience preferred but not required. • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment. • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and long hours. • Desire to learn and grow in a professional working environment. • ServeSafe Certification preferred.
