• *Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the well-being of patients through rehabilitation and recovery. • *Responsibilities:** - Implement treatment plans developed by the physical therapist - Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities - Monitor and document patient progress - Educate patients and their families on therapy procedures - Collaborate with the physical therapist to adjust treatment plans as needed - Maintain a clean and organized therapy area • *Skills:** - Experience in occupational health, acute care, geriatrics, and orthopedics - Strong patient care skills with a focus on individualized treatment - Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support therapy techniques - Familiarity with medical terminology for effective communication with healthcare professionals - Proficiency in trigger point therapy for pain management - Physical Therapy Assistant certificate required This position offers an opportunity to work in a home setting, providing valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of physical therapy.
