Responsibility

Our technicians play a vital role in supporting our engine programs by ensuring that all parts are clean and ready for reuse or repair. You will be responsible for using a variety of cleaning techniques and equipment, including ultrasonic cleaners and pressure washers, to remove oil, dirt, and grime from engine parts. Additionally, you will need to document the cleaning process and communicate effectively with team members to identify any damaged components that may require further attention. Responsible for shop and break room clean-up, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing. Responsible for cleaning the piece parts that have been removed and routed to the cleaning department after the engine has been disassembled. Remove grease build-up, corrosion products, etc., as well as prepare parts for the next overhaul step using various cleaning compounds and chemical solutions, spray guns, brushes, etc. Complete forms associated with work assignments according to established procedures. Responsible for the completion of assigned shop tasks and projects, including providing support to other technicians to complete necessary work in a timely manner. Maintain a safe, clean, and neat work environment through proper housekeeping and organization
