Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at Clayton State University invites applications for Part-Time Faculty in Computer Science and Information Technology to begin in Fall 2023. The candidates will teach 3-6 credit hours courses, percentage time is 20-40%. Required Qualifications The successful candidate will have a minimum of an earned Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in computer science and/or information technology. The candidate must be enthusiastic about teaching a variety of courses in computer science and/or information technology with a diverse student body. The successful candidate must be eligible for employment in the United States at the time of appointment. Experience in college-level teaching is desired, along with knowledge of mainstream technologies for teaching computing courses. This position is ideal for candidates who are ABD in an appropriate field. Preferred Qualifications In addition to academic credentials, industry credentials such as Cisco CCNA and/or CISSP certification, and/or recent industry experience is desirable.
