Responsibility

As directed by the Manager of Labor Management this position is responsible for performing professional administrative investigations throughout the district relative to possible violations of district policies and procedures that may result in disciplinary action. Other duties may be assigned. Conducts administrative investigations using professional techniques appropriate for students, staff, parents and other members of the community. Acts as a liaison between the district and local authorities, including law enforcement and children services, as necessary. Manages a diverse caseload, responsible for establishing priorities, and producing professional reports detailing investigative findings. Provides professional development for district leadership and act as a resource to administrators as needed. Posture: Prolonged sitting and standing; occasional stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting. Lifting: Occasional lifting and carrying (less than 10 pounds). Environment: Works in office setting; may require occasional irregular hours and/or prolonged hours. Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position

TITLE: Investigator- Part Time Hourly Administrative JOB STATUS: FSLA/ Exempt REPORTS TO: Manager, Labor Management & Employee Relations DEPARTMENT: Labor Management & Employee Relations Salary: POSITION OVERVIEW: As directed by the Manager of Labor Management this position is responsible for performing professional administrative investigations throughout the district relative to possible violations of district policies and procedures that may result in disciplinary action. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The statements below are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties, and/or skills required.
