Responsibility
The Overnight Warehouse Associate holds accountability for managing the warehouse activities in all the retail stores. Their duties involve overseeing the work of warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, while assisting the Receiving Warehouse Associate in maintaining freight schedules that align with customers' requirements. Allocate the work hours of warehouse staff on a daily basis to ensure smooth shipment and reception activities. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including tasks such as shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintenance. At times, receiving errors can occur due to issues with the product or shipping information, which may require coordination with the customer to resolve. Ensure the reliable performance of your warehouse equipment through consistent preventive maintenance and repair. By following OSHA guidelines, warehouse managers can ensure that their workers are protected from accidents and injuries while on the job. Teach employees the standardized procedures for operating equipment and tools. Address and resolve disputes between employees in a timely and diplomatic manner. Encourage cross-functional collaboration among different units to improve warehouse productivity. Our reports will provide a clear and concise overview of the company's progress, ensuring that critical information is readily available to management. Keep track of the transfer of documentation between the Receiving department and the Inventory Control Specialist. Correcting Variations in Shipping, Invoices, Packing Slips, and Receiver Reports. Apply the Acquiring Storage Inspection Plan. Simplify counting and inspection tasks by utilizing stage products in the process. It is crucial to maintain appropriate storage conditions and rotate inventory regularly. Undertake other tasks as specified by the management
