We are seeking a diligent and responsible Overnight Janitorial Staff member to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our facility in Washington, DC. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness of the premises, with main focus on shower areas, to support the health and well-being of all individuals using our services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours. THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT SHIFT. Responsibilities: • Deep Clean and sanitize all shower facilities, including floors, walls, and fixtures, ensuring high standards of hygiene. • Conduct regular inspections of shower areas to identify and address maintenance needs or safety concerns. • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly, following environmental and health regulations. • Restock supplies such as soap, shampoo, and towels in shower areas as needed. • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the facility manager immediately. • Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. • Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks completed during each shift. • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a supportive environment. ​Qualifications: • Previous janitorial or custodial experience is an advantage, especially in a healthcare or institutional setting. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. • Must pass a background check and adhere to safety policies.
