Order Processing Specialist Position Details: • Now Hiring Order Processing Specialist - Great pay, includes shift differential • Overtime Required based on business needs Role Purpose: Responsible for the safe, secure, and accurate processing of customer orders. You will manage order replenishment or picking processes with directions from pick sheets or hand-held computers, retrieving merchandise from bins or shelves to fulfill the order. Order Processing Specialist Key Accountabilities: • Efficiently process customer orders or shipments, ensuring accurate loading and shipping of the correct number and type of products. • Accurately manage product inventory by location. • Transport orders to shipping locations using non-powered material handling equipment. • Assist in physical inventories. • Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area. Order Processing Specialist Required Education and Experience: • High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred. • 0 to 12 months experience in a warehouse setting, preferred. • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Order Fulfillment as an Order Picker and Packer, including cross-trained skills across multiple departments: inbound, outbound, auto store, shipping, and receiving. • Prepare products for safe shipment and verify accuracy via computer, shipping label, and packing list. • Daily use of a computer to process orders and create shipping labels. General computer skills are required. • Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is highly desired. Examples include Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, and SAP. • Able to stand for extended periods, up to 90% of the shift. • Must be able to safely lift and carry 50-75 pounds throughout the shift.
