Responsibility
This position will be responsible for successfully inputting and verifying data associated with both copyright and royalties. This position will initially report into the NA Copyright team, and then transition to assisting the NA Client Services team as the project progresses. This person will perform various tasks across numerous projects and processes within the administration team. Perform accurate and timely data entry of songs in UMPG’s administration systems in accordance with Global standards, to ensure the timely registration of works at industry collection societies. Correct data errors & anomalies to continually improve data quality. Research artist and release information to be loaded into the UMPG database. Respond to queries and provide answers to parties who have questions about the UMPG North American catalog. Assist clients with the completion of vendor and banking information paperwork to ensure payment. Provide customer service to clients who are requesting access to our proprietary royalty portal, UMPG Window. Investigate and trouble-shoot any vendor issues due to lacking or outdated information. Other projects and responsibilities as needed in response to changing business requirements. Propose and implement solutions in response to day-to-day challenges within the role

Publishing Administration is responsible for the end-to-end value chain that spans licensing, registrations, royalty collection and distribution that ultimately serves and compensates our writers and clients. This position will be responsible for successfully inputting and verifying data associated with both copyright and royalties.
