Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Monterey, CA, Duration: Long Term DoD Security Clearance Required We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is an on-site position located in Monterey, CA. The qualified applicant will become part of the team of Network Engineers and provide technical services to provide maintenance, planning, installation, and management of the network throughout the enterprise. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Provide high-quality customer service by troubleshooting and resolving customer network issues. • Perform maintenance, planning, installation, and management of the network. • Test and analyze all elements of the network facilities including power, software, security features, communications devices, lines, modems, and terminals, and for the overall integration of the enterprise network. • Monitor, administer, securely install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), network encryption devices Tactical Fastlane (TACLANE) and Electronic Key Management System (EKMS), load balancers, domain name system (DNS) appliances, and wireless infrastructure. • Implement software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose issues that affect network performance. • Maintain security and integrity controls. Basic Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience in computer system/network engineering • Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (may substitute equivalent combination of education and experience) • Must possess a CompTIA Security+ certification. • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field or a related area • Must be able to obtain a DoD Clearance (US Citizen) • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: • Local to the Monterey area. • Experience with DoD • CCNA certification is desired Compensation: $120K to $185K depending on experience, a comprehensive benefits package.
