Our work depends on Network Administrators joining our team to install, operate and maintain network infrastructure, troubleshoot any issues, and quickly remedy the problem. HOW A NETWORK ADMIN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT • Provides ongoing support for the functionality and efficiency of computer systems and networks • Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks • Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability • Trains users, maintains, creates and deletes user accounts • Develops and enhances processes and technical documentation, creates back-up procedures, test plans, and reports WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred Required Experience: • 3+ years of related experience Security Clearance Level: • TS/SCI Required Skills and Abilities: • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology • Security + or equivalent DoD 8570 certification required • Requires a good working knowledge of network administration and information systems • Must closely follow network protocols and methodology Preferred Skills: • MCSA or CCNA or equivalent experience • Must be able to evaluate network performance and interact with users to solve problems • Can effectively deliver training • Has good consulting skills Location: • On Customer Site Citizenship Required: • US Citizenship GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: ● 401K with company match ● Comprehensive health and wellness packages ● Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career ● Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications ● Cutting-edge technology you can learn from ● Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays
