Responsibility

Guidehouse is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and detail-oriented Medicaid Data Analytics Consulting Lead to manage a team performing analysis of State Medicaid data and and providing technical assistance to the States. You will also be expected to grow and develop Guidehouse’s team and solutions internally in a way that fosters career development, fiscal responsibility, and culture/brand. You will have the opportunity to actively develop business through: client relationships, proposal development, managing and writing responses to RFPs, and thought leadership. Mentors, coaches, and reviews the work of other data coaches, data scientists, and data analysts. Leads a team of data analysts/coaches that use analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets. Provides team leadership to develop and interpret large dataset engineering models: data augmentation, data quality analysis, data analytics (anomalies and trends), data profiling, data algorithms, and (measure/develop) data maturity models and develop data strategy recommendations. Provides quality review on statistical analysis and programs plan to ensure consistency with protocol and adequacy to meet objectives defined in the protocol. Collaborates and provides leadership to a cross-functional team using data analytics, validation, computational checks, cleansing and standardization processing to identify data quality issues, find root causes, and identify solutions. Provides oversight and expertise to the team to develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets and determines causes of failed data quality checks. Defines standards for custom data models and algorithms, the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques. to coach stakeholders on data compliance. Leads a team that provides data coaching and technical assistance to State Medicaid representatives to resolve data issues, including working sessions to enable a deeper understanding of requirements. Leads State technical assistance and State engagement conversations. Defines the framework that will be used to provide external-facing technical assistance to the user community. Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts and other Data Scientists to create unique AI and ML solutions. Builds predictive and machine learning models (anomaly, rule based, social network, predictive, and machine learning). Develops statistical tests for modeling results and provide predictive analytic statistical support. Evaluates new AI ML modeling techniques including random forest, gradient boosting, and support vector machine methods. Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize user experiences, system capabilities, and other business outcomes. Provides leadership in continuous improvement activities to improve community satisfaction
