Material Handler (WAREHOUSE JOB) APEX Kitchen Cabinets & Granite Countertops Apex Granite Outlet Inc is a worldwide industry-leading supplier of Kitchen and Bath home improvement products. We believe that the cornerstone of our success is the teamwork and dedication of our employees. We are looking to add a Full-Time, Permanent Material Handler for a Monday through Friday day shift. This role is an opportunity to learn about the Kitchen Cabinet and Granite Industry and connect with professionals in the field. Responsibilities: · Fill orders for customers timely and accurately from warehouse stock. · Assists in receiving stock and non-stock items. · Loads and unloads delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and transport · Participate in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses. · Perform all functions within the scope of the warehouse for the purpose of providing warehousing operations. · Cleans warehouse for the purpose of maintaining a safe and sanitary work area. · Able to drive commercial vehicles (e.g. truck, van, forklift, etc.) for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites a plus. Education and Experience: · High school diploma or equivalent required · One to two years related experience or equivalent. · Forklift experience a plus · Valid Driver’s License Qualifications: · Ability to work with minimal supervision. Can think on their feet. · Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills · Ability to manage priorities and workflow. · Acute attention to detail. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: · Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance. · Climb a ladder to a height of at least 20 feet. · Wear appropriate safety equipment. · Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, and balance on a regular basis. · Age: under 50 Work Environment: A large percentage of work time is spent in the warehouse environment and outdoors, where temperatures vary. The environment may be cool or hot, and the noise level can be moderate to high.
