Responsibility

As a Data Scientist you would support and enhance marketing strategies through data-driven insights, statistical analysis, and applied learning. Prepare various data to optimize the organization, cleansing, retrieval, usage, and analysis of data and lists to help achieve marketing outcomes. Develop models, improve data accessibility and inform decision-making for campaigns that align with company goals. Roles and responsibilities of the Marketing Data Scientist position include…. Data Engineering & Management: Imports, organizes, cleanses, extracts and transforms data for various marketing campaigns, comprehensive analysis, feature engineering, and model-building. Maintains and improves data pipelines to ensure quality and relevance for marketing insights. Completes list extraction, segmentation, selections and data preparation for use in marketing campaigns. Assists in the design and implementation of A/B tests and executes causality experiments and reports on campaign effectiveness and provides insights on optimized outcomes. Insight Development & Communication: Analyzes data from multiple sources (website, paid media, social, direct marketing campaigns.). Identifies trends, market opportunities, and campaign performance. Communicates findings and actionable insights to stakeholders. Marketing Automation Administration: Manages and optimizes marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Intercom) in order to streamline and enhance marketing processes. Resolves issues to minimize downtime and optimizes platform usage to maximize return on investment. Marketing Campaigns: Plans, develops, executes, and maintains both standard marketing and lead nurturing campaigns to engage and convert prospects. Develops email campaign deployment. Engineers campaign flow to maximize engagement rates and reports and monitors on campaign performance. Market & Campaign Analysis: Evaluates campaign success using metrics (ROI, CPS, and conversion rates.). Develops detailed user-friendly reports to inform marketing strategy. Develops the necessary tools/campaigns/functionality to execute and achieve marketing objectives, budget allocation, and tool integration. Presents findings through dashboards and reports using data visualization techniques. Partners with marketing, IT and other departments. Documentation & Process Optimization: Refines data collection procedures and maintains up-to-date knowledge of products, tracking, and logging practices. Documents tools, methodologies, and dataset structures. Maintains and adheres to all enterprise, group, partner requirements and best-practices for data privacy and security for all PII. They will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and optimizing automated marketing campaigns to support digital marketing efforts

  • The pay range for this position is $70,200 - $109,387, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience

Qualifications Business Experience: • Experience: 5+ years in data science, data engineering, or a related analytics role, preferably with a marketing focus. Email marketing and marketing automation experience highly preferred. • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of databases such as Salesforce, Eloqua and Guidewire. • Analytical Skills: Advanced understanding of statistics (distributions, regression, testing) and applied math skills (statistics, linear algebra) to solve real-world marketing problems. • Visualization & Reporting: Experience with data visualization and reporting tools to create insightful and accessible reports. • Marketing Platform Familiarity: Knowledge of tools and platforms like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and marketing automation software. • Cloud & Version Control: Exposure to cloud-based data services and experience with version control systems.
