Mad Science is the WORLD'S leading provider of Science Programming for Kids!!! After School Program Instructor Position Why work with Mad Science? • Get paid to lead fun and exciting science classes and workshops for elementary aged (K-6) students (no science background required)! • We teach you everything you need to know with video and hands-on training sessions. Classes are easy to learn and we provide you with curriculum notes. • Our afternoon programs accommodate busy schedules, one hour classes usually run between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00 pm. • Many different locations all throughout the DMV and Baltimore area. • Make a difference and have a job that you truly look forward to doing. What is the job description? • After completing training you will present fun, interactive, after school classes to elementary aged children. • Lots of exciting hands-on experiments and activities in every class. • We supply everything you need to teach including program content, materials, take-home projects, and an awesome Mad Science exclusive t-shirt to wear! • Hours are limited, as most can only work one or two classes per day. How are instructors compensated? • $75 per program/class taught (one of the highest rates for after school program instructors) What are we looking for in a Mad Scientist? • You must enjoy and have some experience working with elementary aged children • Positive energy and a sense of humor • Reliable personal transportation (a must) Questions?
