Investment management firm's kicking off a major Machine Learning implementation, seeks strong ML Engineer We're looking for an ultra-hands on Engineer experienced with designing and developing an ML based infrastructure Excellent Programming skills in Python, SQL Knowledge of Cloud computing concepts (AWS) and working experience with deploying and managing applications in the Cloud Deep understanding of distributed computing principles Will take the lead in deploying machine learning models, lead open-source efforts significantly impacting multiple areas of investment process, collaborate with research team to address engineering challenges and contribute to the development and improvement of novel algorithms and models Requires: Advanced (MS/PhD) degree in computational science, with preference for Comp Sci, Math, Stats, related 4+ years of industry experience, including training and deploying ML models in production ML Full stack /Engineering toolkit: proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn etc. Expertise in areas like NLP, Deep Learning, Anomaly Detection, Transformers and Large Language Models Prior experiences working in both startup and research environments a plus, experience in investment management application of ML a plus
