Responsibility

The selected candidate will be supporting SI's Warehouse and Logistics Group. Display levels of quality, integrity, safety, respect, engagement, and performance consistent with company values. Maintain material inventory tracking spreadsheets, confirm material supply and demand, coordinate the purchase of components or parts based on production schedules and inventory requirements. Manage and maintain material compliance in the provision and disposition of material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials, both IAF and GFM in order to meet production requirements. Maintain company warehouse and coordinate with facilities personnel for warehouse storage, upkeep, and safety requirements. Advise production management of the status of material availability and potential production problems to ensure that equipment and materials are provided as needed. Prepare and provide material documentation and transport for shipping and export/import of materials to work sites in foreign countries. Ensure that Corporate Government Property standards regarding warehouse compliance processes are being implemented and followed (material tagging, material segregation, import/export processes, etc.). Guarantee strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and Federal Acquisitions Regulations. May ride ships at sea for extended periods

We are seeking a junior level Logistics professional to join our growing team. SI trades teams provide expert solutions on shipboard alterations and installations for fleet modernization. The selected candidate will be supporting SI's Warehouse and Logistics Group. The selected candidate will work alongside a very diverse group of professionals dedicated to the upkeep and repair of United States Navy vessels both local and abroad.
