Responsibility

The Logistics Supervisor will perform a variety of technical and business tasks in support of the logistics functions for both operations and engineering materials. Business planning framework responsible for making sure products reach their destinations safely, securely, and on-time. Part of supply chain management in charge of governing shipping, receiving, and inventory efforts. The Logistics Manager will be required to manage all aspects of logistics at White Sands Missile Range and direct personnel on associated tasks. The day-to-day responsibilities listed below are necessary in order to meet program costs and schedule requirements. Supervise/Oversee all incoming material and outgoing material to include Hazardous, Classified, Freight, Ground, and Air. Asset management of incoming, storage, and outgoing materials. Ensure team has proper tools for job. Manage team by keeping positive work environment. Promote RTX goals/values. Root Cause analysis of process gaps, and related corrective action. Review and revision of existing processes to include process mapping, training, work instructions, performance metrics with defined control limits. Work effectively across RTX functional organizations. Material planning of upcoming programs including but no limited to kitting, organizing, inventory control, issuing assets, and labeling
