Responsibility
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for supply chain, inventory management and logistics to assist our international logistics team with maintaining a seamless international transportation process. This role will ensure superior service and compliance throughout the entire logistics process lifecycle. The Logistics Specialist will contribute to the overall success of the organization by facilitating the logistics process, ensuring on time cargo delivery with reasonable freight rates, provide effective resolutions for any issues with vendors and maintain consistent communication with all department. Approving container loading plans. Approving freight invoices. Coordinating with Planners, ocean carriers, freight brokers and various internal teams to arrange all shipping and delivery of inventory. Coordinate with Customer Service team to complete the invoice process. Monitor entire process of cargo movement including intermodal transportation. Track and monitor system data with correct information regarding ETD, ETA, Duty Rate, Landed Cost and HTS codes. Work with our warehouses and operation team to ensure timely arrival of inventory.
